We’ve had a very busy past for weeks hence the lack of posting. Yesterday, we were tickled to receive a rose at church as the newest members of Christ Church UCC along with those who have reached over ninety years of age. We need to hang in there another fifty five years to get another rose!
Cat had a nice jewelry party with a friend, Julia, along with family members Lori Ebersole, Kathy Donahower, and Karen Yeager. The girls had a lot of fun while I took some time insulate, mud part of a ceiling, and wash the car.
We finished up a busy day with a marathon Kmart and Giant trip. At the former we saved at least 70% on all items purchase save one. We bought two bottles of conditioner, three deodorants, floss, two tubes of toothpaste, and body wash for less than nine dollars thanks for some adept couponing. We’re new to this couponing thing but are excited at the progress we’ve made. Cat’s homecooking has also been a great cost saver. We priced kiesh and hummus at Giant, for example, and we save eight dollars and three dollars respectively each time Cat makes it at home.
